Matchpoint is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a contract for non-revenue water (NRW) reduction with Grand Bahama Utility Company (GBUC). The contract is in partnership with our friends at Smart Water Analytics, who will use the tools and services Matchpoint provides to develop a “Water Efficiency and Optimization Strategy Program” for GBUC.

Matchpoint will supply Hydreka Hydrins flowmeters for the project, which will be used to monitor the flow and pressure of water towers and a portion of the distribution system. The data generated will help Smart Water Analytics establish a network model and configure a plan for DMA and pressure management implementation.

When all is said and done, GBUC will have a good vision of the location and cause of their water loss, and will be able to self-sufficiently work toward reducing their NRW in the future.

We are excited to play a hand in helping the island achieve their NRW control goals!
